Saturday and Sunday July 27th and 28th 2019 (with Friday night hospitality on the 26th
Be part of the largest German Culture and Heritage Festival in the United States.  Typical German Fest attendance (Friday – Sunday) is around 100,000.  Entertainment includes a variety of music, a parade, a live performance “glockenspiel,” the wiener dog race, fireworks over Lake Michigan and – back by popular demand for 2019 - COAA presenting mechanical organs throughout the grounds on Saturday and Sunday! Dozens of vendors offer food and beverage options throughout the event.  Portions of the grounds are developed with permanent entertainment and vending structures but the wide walkway along Lake Michigan’s edge features grassy areas with picnic tables, shade trees and cool lake breezes – great spots for crank organs!

(Please note that due to construction on the grounds in 2019 we do not anticipate having any appropriate locations available for truck or trailer mounted instruments – for this year the event will need to be hand cranked organs only.)
VENUE:
Milwaukee’s
Henry Maier Festival Park – known as the Summer Fest Grounds – is a 75-acre lakefront park adjacent to Milwaukee’s downtown.  Each summer the site hosts a variety of cultural festivals, walks, runs and concerts with approximately 1.4 million patrons to the site annually.  For German Fest, five of the sites Music Stages are in use for a variety of  entertainment offerings. While much of the center of the grounds is developed with permanent entertainment and vending structures the wide walkway along Lake Michigan’s edge features grassy areas with picnic tables and shade trees – perfect spots for crank organs!
